Think Iconic Australian Wine. Think Big. Think 5th Generation. Think Founding Family. Think McLaren Vale's finest reds. Think Black Sheep....
Hugh Hamilton is coming to Hong Kong.
Wine Brothers is super excited to introduce Hong Kong to the world of Hugh Hamilton Wines. First, we will introduce the man himself over two entertaining and interactive 'Meet the Maker' dinners. Secondly, we will add four new and exciting wines from Hugh's range to our portfolio of small batch wines.
What is Hugh's story?
Well. It is quite a story. Older than me, older than you, much older than the formation of Australia. Some would even say older than history itself. Hugh is a fifth generation winemaker in the family that planted the first vineyards in South Australia in 1837, less than one year after European settlement of the colony. The Hamilton family are excited to celebrate 180 years of unbroken winemaking tradition in 2017. They have stood the test of time (Note for those playing at home; while we cannot confirm how old Hugh himself is, he was not born in 1837).
As with all families one is a black sheep and Hugh Hamilton is it. His wines are far from ordinary. Hugh has a clear vision about the way he sees wines and he produces accordingly. He is a firm believer in the wine and food experience. Both are great, especially in the company of good friends and lively conversation.
Ok. I reckon Hugh sounds alright. How do I get involved?
Join us for dinner with Hugh at the uber cool Secret Kitchen by The Butchers Club in Wong Chuk Hang. Bang! Up close and personal with the great man himself as he presents, pairs and patters his way through four of his best wines.
With limited seats available. This will sell out. No Doubt.
