You could say this Marsanne is like our sense of humour - dry, distinctive and unusually refreshing. A honeyed bouquet, mineral complexity and light lemon, peachy flavours make it an outstanding match with dinner, even if you end up burning the cooking.


All Saints Estate harks all the way back to 1864, when two settlers from Scotland started growing vines in North East Victoria. Three siblings, Eliza, Angela and Nick are now the fourth generation to run All Saints. But stuck in the past, these guys ain’t. While they take advantage of the traditional tools at hand, like gentle pressing the harvest in a 135-year-old basket press, All Saints’ low intervention approach allows the grapes to grow wild and do their own thing too.


The fruit is hand picked in the cool of the morning and then destemmed and crushed to the press on arrival at the winery. The juice was cold settled for 24 hours before being racked and inoculated with yeast for fermentation. Fermented to dryness in stainless steel tanks, the wine was then transferred to premium French oak barrels which had contained the previous vintage of our Family Cellar Marsanne, where it matured on full lees for five months to add texture prior to bottling.


This wine is more versatile than Meryl Streep's acting ability. Try it with some lighter meats. Or with such a full, textural palate it’s also a mean match for seafoods, creamy sauces and the like. You’ve got our permission to go culinary full throttle, ok?
