We love what Aphelion Wine Co. is all about. Small parcels of locally sourced fruit, a husband-wife couple and a passion for making exceptional wine. As a team, they have been well awarded by the wine critics (if we were into ratings we'd be sold by a 94-pointer from JH alone). But Aphelion have a lot more exciting things going for them besides. Winemaker Rob Mack has even taken out the Young Gun of Wine award. Get 'em while they're hot, these guys are going gangbusters.

FROM THE WINEMAKER

Pale straw in colour, aromas of tropical fruit, crisp apple, and nashi pear jump from the glass along with ripe stone fruit. Clean and pure on the palate with bountiful fruit and floral characters. Flavour length is provided by crisp acidity and a light textural element thanks to the wine’s time spent resting on lees.

FOOD MATCHING

Perfect for seafood or a cheese board with a lightly flavoured brie.
