Because we guarantee, next time your mates come over unannounced on a Saturday, and the sun is high in the sky, and the banter is not too shabby, and you’re feeling those carefree 852 vibes pulsing through your whole entire body… that’s when you’re gonna wanna have this on ice. Delicate and fruity with a savoury edge, it’s simply unreal.

These guys just do everything right. An innate understanding of their 80 acres in ‘winemaking nirvana’ Margaret River and a tight focus on small batch quality means they’re strides ahead of the big dogs when it comes to agility and flavour. It’s this clever clog kind of thinking that scoops up all sorts of awards (65 golds to be precise) including James Halliday's Winemaker of the Year 2019 for Julian Langworthy. They’re wines JH described as having balance ‘beyond compare’. Impressive stuff without a doubt.


2019 was a beautiful vintage in Margaret River. A steady, mild season allowed for slow, measured flavour development that resulted in balanced natural acidity and lifted varietal fruit character, resulting in wines with incredible perfume, true elegance and real personality. This wine is produced solely from Margaret River fruit and made to sit alongside the very best wines from the Deep Woods stable. The aim was to make a contemporary style of Rosé; nuanced and delicate, yet still full-flavoured. Tempranillo and Shiraz, both largely grown in the Yallingup Hills and some of which was oxidative-handled, was blended with a small proportion of handpicked, barrel-fermented Vermentino. Slow and carefully managed ferments allowed for a Rosé of great character, delicacy and complexity.


If you’ve gotta eat, finger food is the name of the game here. Keep it light. Keep it portable. Low-fuss, high enjoyment party food to go with the inevitable ‘up and about’ atmosphere.
