Sam Clarke from Pontifex will join us for an intimate dinner at Crown Wine Cellars located in Deep Water Bay.

Serious Small Batch. Seriously Good. This summarises what our friends at Pontifex wines are doing. Pontifex, as a brand new project, is the husband-wife effort of Sam and Helen Clarke. They are passionate about small batch wine and are passionate about putting their own name to a project. 

If you read into their history you will soon find out they both have a long history in wine, and both have involvement in a large Barossa producer. This is different. This is theirs. This is small batch. This is as raw and real as it gets

Sam will visit to present their two wines - a Shiraz and a Shiraz, Grenache, Mouvedre blend. Both 2016 vintage. Both so so good. Both Barossa. We'll round out the evening with two other Barossa beverages that will complement the offering from Pontifex.

Crown Wine Cellars is acknowledged as one of the world’s finest wine cellar facilities, dedicated to the meticulous handling, storage, long-term maturation and ultimate enjoyment of wine. Located in Shouson Hill, an exclusive suburb on Hong Kong Island, Crown Wine Cellars is nestled in a park-like setting which is also of immense historical significance having been declared a UNESCO Asia Pacific Heritage Site in 2007. As old WWII bunkers, Crown Wine Cellars boasts six underground cellars and a private members clubhouse comprised of two underground bunkers as well as a newly constructed conservatory.
