As the owners and makers of every single vineyard bottle, they’re the definition of hands-on. They’re serious perfectionists who take major pride in their work, and hoo boy does it show. 

It’s Mike Press’s firm belief that great wine starts with great viticultural know-how of your particular vineyard. So for their prime spot in the Adelaide Hills, 500 metres above sea level, they knew Merlot was a pretty sure thing.


And what a bloody beauty this merlot is. Intense. All kinds of berry; blackberry, raspberry, strawberry with a dusty spice too. Like a schoolboy on his best behaviour, this is a well-rounded drop. Terrific now or makes a good one to stick in the collection for a few years, if you can resist.
