If in doubt, do it like the French. Think of this like the ubiquitous pale rosé from Provence, only a bit less overproduced. This one's more of a small batch aromatic masterpiece, just as we like it.
Intense raspberry, strawberry and musk aromatics. Deliciously fruity raspberry, water melon and strawberry flavours decorate the palate with some spicy musk elements the back drop. Guaranteed to go down a storm. Next, to master 11pm dinners, turning up late and all the other effortlessly cool stuff the French do so well...
When it comes to wine families, Sam and Jock Auld are the real deal. It’d be hard not to become a vino obsessive when your Barossa Valley upbringing meant dried grape seeds cushioning falls from the monkey bars and early morning pruning as teens. But given their pioneering great-grandfather planted some of SA’s very first vines, it was written. If the Auld family name had been used consistently for the last six generations, it might be as renowned as Penfolds. But as one of the ‘in crowd’, we’re kind of pleased it isn’t.
FROM THE WINEMAKER
The grapes for this fragrant rosé came from the Riverland, Barossa and Padthaway. The grapes were crushed, then allowed five hours skin contact at 17°C before pressing. The juice fermented cool, to preserve aromas and freshness.FOOD MATCH

This Rose is perfect. Too many Rose have no body or flavour. This sits well with a meal of Seafood or white meat, but is also priced and light enough to enjoy for happy hour. Highly recommended.

Forget French Rose. They have no flavour and no body. This Rose for the price punches well above its weight. Perfect when you want a wine to stand up to good food but don’t want red.
