While the definition of small batch highlights that all of our carefully chosen range are made in limited quantities, it is the mentality rather the physical size that excites us here at Wine Brothers. It is the attitude. It is the state of mind. It is the motivation.
We have grown on the notion of being fiercely independent. We do not use distributors, we do not talk to the 'big players', we do not use middle men. What we do do is get our feet on the ground, talk to the wine makers, visit the wineries, and get our hands dirty. Our suppliers are the wine makers, our contracts are nothing more than a handshake, and our celebrations are announced by the opening the next bottle. This is our sourcing model.
The eclectic array of wine on offer from Wine Brothers strongly reflects the personality of the people, the places and the passion involved in its conception - all uniquely Australian. A collection of ideals focused around New World drinkability and a modern interpretation of winemaking ensure that our range explores the finest examples of Australian wine.

A medium bodied dry red wine of deep ruby colour with aromas of cassis, violets and mixed spice. The palate of this Australian wine is firm, supported by fine structural tannins and balanced acidity.

We are super excited to have Hugh Hamilton back in Hong Kong. He comes loaded with some fantastic new wines and an unmatched enthusiasm to share them with the good people of Hong Kong.
This dinner will be the launch of three new and exciting Black Sheep wines to the Wine Brothers range - Three unique and interesting wines that can only come from such a high-calibre producer with an intent on following his small-batch mentality. These wines are truly special;
'The Scoundrel'
Tempranillo 44% Shiraz 42% Nero d'Avola 14% - The thing about Scoundrels is that they’re not to be trusted. We thought we were getting a Tempranillo, but this wine stubbornly refused at every tasting to be turned into one. This Tempranillo wanted partners in crime; Shiraz and Nero d’Avola. A particularly brawny year for our Tempranillo has been tempered and lengthened by the addition of these two varieties. Mid-palate fruit balances assertive tannin in what we suspect will be a very age-worthy ‘Scoundrel’.
'The Agent Provocateur'
“Whilst at the winery I was introduced to Agent Provocateur. She enticed me. I’m one to push boundaries, but never have I done this before. “Who is she?” You ask. Agent Provocateur is a rare blend. She has a very distinct character, a truly unique beauty.”
Cola and Turkish Delight jockey with star anise, raspberry, and rose oil in an estery bouquet that leaps from the glass, provided by the Grenache and Gewürztraminer. The Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier complete a textural profile that lends weight without sweetness. The supple textures of the white varieties form a perfect counterpoint to the grippier tannins of the reds.
'The Three Card Monte'
In a Three Card Monte, as hard as the mark tries to choose a winning card from three, the dealer always wins. We have turned this on its head by using only winning cards, so that the real trick is not which but how well all three go together. A neat trick where everyone is a winner.
A meaty/spicy mix of Christmas cake and charcuterie. A collision of violets, cranberries, baking spices, and mulberry. A clean acid line keeps everything together; complex, crunchy, and deliciously alive in the glass.
