Produced predominately from Shiraz that’s co-fermented with Viognier and Marsanne then blended with some Mataro. This is one elegant wine but one that packs intense flavour into every drop. Perfumed plum, liquorice and blackberry aromas intermix with hints of blueberry, lightly toasted vanillin cedar and spice. Yarra Yering has been an iconic vineyard at the foot of the Warramate Hills in the Yarra Valley since 1969. Every since the founder Dr. Bailey Carrodus planted the vines in 1969 it has gained an international reputation for quality and individuality. It is frequently named among the top Yarra Valley wineries, Yarra Yering’s proud tradition is being continued to great acclaim by current winemaker Sarah Crowe.
