Classic aromas of violets, cassis and graphite with dark bramble and liquorice aromas bring everything together! Flavours of red plums and cherries are enhanced by savoury olive tapenade and tomato leaf. Serious skills from the viticultural team steered this one in a beautiful direction. More than enough going on to floor the taste buds of all at Wine Brothers HQ.
These guys just do everything right. An innate understanding of their 80 acres in ‘winemaking nirvana’ Margaret River and a tight focus on small batch quality means they’re strides ahead of the big dogs when it comes to agility and flavour. It’s this clever clog kind of thinking that scoops up all sorts of awards (65 golds to be precise) including James Halliday's Winemaker of the Year 2019 for Julian Langworthy. They’re wines JH described as having balance ‘beyond compare’. Impressive stuff without a doubt.

This year’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon release is as always, an epic expression of Margaret River Cabernet. Effortless in every way, a cassis flavoured dream.
Beautifully ripe and superfine, dense tannins are the hallmark of this wine every year. Flavours of red plums and cherries are enhanced by savoury olive tapenade and tomato leaf. This wine is medium-bodied, with juicy natural acidity and an elegant persistence.
FOOD MATCHING
You might want to swirl and savour this one on its own. But if there’s beef carpaccio, lamb shanks or aged cheddar going, probably wouldn’t say no to a bit of that.RATING
