"Little Giant Shiraz is crafted from fruit sourced from select premium vineyards of both the Barossa Valley and Eden Valley. Picked in the cool of the morning to retain freshness, the fruit is de-stemming and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine then spent nine moths in used large format French and American oak barrels to build structure whilst softening the palate and develop flavour complexity without overt extraction of oak characters."FOOD MATCHING

While we enjoyed the Mike Press Shiraz, the Little Giant remains our favourite wine within this price range at present. It's so smooth and quaffable that half the case has evaporated already! We'll be reordering this little gem soon.

Don't be put off by the squat bottle, since this is a lovely wine - very smooth with a decent finish and at 14.5% it packs a punch. This wine compares favourably with any Barossa St. Hallett in this price range. I'll definitely order again!

I cannot get enough of this wine. It's a great price point, packs loads of flavour and is very approachable, whatever the dish. Sometimes red wine get's a hard run in the heat of Hong Kong, but I can crack this any evening with friends and food. Grab a dozen and have them on hand.
