A past life as a Sotheby’s jewellery evaluator serves him well as he meticulously observes wine subtleties. With his keen eye and passion for slow artisanal craft, he creates wines with big, distinctive personalities that won’t fade into bland anonymity. Someone get us a glass, stat!

FROM THE WINEMAKER

Grown on acidic, sandy loam over brown clay at the Hill block in Piccadilly’s Summertown. At an elevation of 550m and a steep South-facing aspect this vineyard ripens through cool Summers and Autumns producing fine, taut and intensely aromatic fruit.
