Who is Juicy June you ask... well here she is. This wine is Ricca Terra's lively and youthful early release that is bottled in June each year, mere months after harvest! Ashley says... why not! Life is full of adventures and Juicy June should be in all of them! bring out the fireworks Juicy June is here! She's dark red, obviously juicy and all of candied cherries and raspberry notes. A super easy to drink drop!

 

Ashley Ratcliff (Founder) has a background in Viticulture and has always been passionate about the wine industry. he and and wife purchased their first vineyard in Barmera South Australia with a vision to plant, nurture and make wine from wine varieties that were best suited to Australia's warm and dry climate. Ricca Terra is definitely making a name for themselves in the industry accumulating some of the industries best awards. Their wine has blends that have yet to be seen here at Wine Brothers, so if you are looking for something you have yet to try, Ricca Terra is a sure bet!

FROM THE WINEMAKER

Beaujolais nouveau is a French thing! By the law of their land, the Gamay grapes must be harvested by hand. The early released red wine is bottled, only weeks after harvested, and sold at the same time every year, accompanied by fireworks, music and festivals. Juicy June is Australia’s Beaujolais nouveau! We harvest by hand, ferment in old oak and bottled in the shortest time possible from when the grapes were plucked from the vines. Instead of using Gamay, Negroamaro and Grenache are the varieties of choice. They bring bright and flavoursome characters to this wine.
